I drive using the Sequential Automatic function, which is a true shift-and-hold with available 2nd gear start. Engine speed on the low-end prompts a downshift. Torque converter engagement is independent/automatic.
I really had a good tank going into almost 1/4-tank, in the low/mid 30s (maybe higher), then drivers were swapped for the majority of the tank remainder.
I completed the last 1/4 of the tank around town and on back gravel roads, and ended up hitting a pothole that knocked the alignment to pull leftwards. Combine that with cheap tires up front, and the resistance is likely significant. Before Winter, new tires are planned to replace the rear set, but will go up front + the alignment and hopefully that will correct most of the problem there.
Upcoming maintenance:
* ATF flush / replace with full synth (AMSoil is the only Honda/Acura compatible Sythetic ATF).
* Small, inline ATF filter planned for replacement
* Spark packs and plugs / tune-up due soon
* (Maybe) Front stock undertray warped -- plan to replace" |
