EVTV offers deal of the decade on used Better Place battery packs - 24 kWh for $3600

Crazy good deal on an OEM battery pack. Same cells as the Leaf uses... $3600 for 24 kWh.

Well it says its 640 lbs total. Subtract ~40 lbs for packaging. 200 lbs is a rough guess.

Read the article.

They are the same cells that are in the Leaf.

Too bad those things are such god awefull dimensions. I would love to recycle an OEM balancer/bms.

If it fit in the C-car Would have to go with the ZX40 but that as well, no place to put a 2.5FT tall battery, 4.2FT wide and 2.5FT long. Would have to put it all on the front bumper and blast would that suck!

Ah well.

Yeah, I'm considering going in with the local EV guys and getting like a 1/2 pack. It would be broken up into cells and configured for my own use.

EVTV.me has pics of the module all taken apart. They also did cell testing.
