meh, people die all the time, I don't judge how they lived or died anymore. Being an actor he had more glory in life than most so that is the only reason it is news, but no more tragic than any other death otherwise. No reason his family deserves more sympathy than any other, but those other families will never see it.

While his work on the "Fast and Furious" franchise has helped to glorify street racing, he's known for sponsoring charities and good causes.

The fact that he died while leaving a fund-raiser that he set up for the benefit of typhoon victims means that he deserves at least that much respect.

Not every ricer is a street-racer. Actually many of the riced cars aren't so powerful as their owners try to make it look

Couldn't give two farts that he's a movie star. It's sad that he and his friend, car enthusiasts just like the rest of us, are dead... and that they died coming back from a charity event they sponsored due to what seems to be a steering failure on a car they were in the process of repairing.

One thing that makes my blood boil is that I have seen some people who claim to be Protestant Christians mocking his death, such as they actually belief that he deserved to die tragically because of his work in Fast and Furious. And many of those folks would never practice the charity they were supposed to learn at their churches, altough they're always too busy claiming they're gonna go to heaven while everyone else is going to hell
