SOLD: The most efficient tow vehicle and people hauler ever

It's for sale!!

This is a 1994 Chevy Caprice station wagon with the drivetrain/suspension of a 3/4 ton truck and extensive ecomods. Pictures, and more details about the build, here. The car hasn’t changed much since that write-up, except for swapping out the injectors for more modern ones with better atomization, and installing a stereo with hands-free Bluetooth capability.

The engine has 135,000 original miles, but most of the drivetrain and suspension has been swapped out with new or rebuilt parts. The engines in these cars would do 300,000+ miles in taxi service before needing a rebuild.

Here’s all you need to know:
  • Can seat up to 9 people
  • Can tow up to 10,000 lbs.
  • Can get up to 50 MPG
  • Is rock solid and dependable

Car is located in Edinburg, VA. Will come with spare rear wheels with mud tires, factory service manuals, tuning cables, service/modification records, spare parts, filters, gear oil, etc. Also, given the highly-custom nature of this vehicle, I will remain available by email indefinitely to the new owner to answer questions about how things are put together, wired, tuned, etc., if questions arise when you’re servicing or modifying it in the future. I want this car to go to someone who will use and appreciate it.

Asking $3500.

Also available with the sale:
  • Fastway E2 weight distributing/sway control hitch with 600 and 1000 lb. bars--$250
  • A second 1995 Caprice Wagon parts car--$350
  • A 2017 model 16’, 10K lb. gross, dovetail equipment trailer with removable sides--$2700

Or, take the whole lot for $6500.

Please don’t hesitate to email with questions: funkhoss@gmail.com.

Thanks for looking!
