Bah, humbug!

It just melts the CP. It will drip down, no big deal. At least, that's what it did with my Mustang.

Test run was great, no melting, overheating, no smoke, cabin heat, anything like that. The coroplast is rock solid, and I used aluminum over the cat and it's not discolored after half an hour on the road.

I mounted a steel bracket for the first sheet at the back (which I had laying around) and the second sheet mounted to a bracket behind the cat, and the sheet of aluminum over the cat screwed into the front bracket already in place for the front aero panel.
The entire car has a smooth underbody now, I'll see how it fares, and what kind of affect it has on mileage.
Nice job, Lookin very good. I am envious of you even willing to smooth over the exhaust resonator and cat. I only have access to coroplast and I dont trust it to run on hot components anymore (was willing till I learned with the rear pan that it melts a bit after only a short drive when in contact with piping).

If the coroplast becomes a problem in those areas, I'm going to go full-on aluminum sheeting through the center.

I threw a fire extinguisher in the trunk just in case, but after the half hour test drive there want's anything visible

What size are the bulbs for the dome light, map lights and rear trunk light? I wanna go LED because how much brighter they are.

So far I have them in the license plate area and dome light. Ecky gave them to me, and I have some left, but I don't know the size. They plug right in the same as the regular bulbs.

So far so good on the belly pan, although it was too dark when I got to work to check for melting. Ecky, since I only used two of the pallet liners, I have three of them left over if you want them. I also have access to pretty much an unlimited supply of them for the future. Next time you come through town grab them if you want.

I found the sizes for mine at SuperBrightLEDs.com, Balto. This is what I ordered for my brake lights:

https://www.superbrightleds.com/more...wer/1298/2995/
Size = 7443 CK

This is for the rear cargo area:

https://www.superbrightleds.com/more...toon/238/1130/
Size = D3175 festoon

I believe these are the LEDs I ordered for most everything else:

http://www.amazon.com/Zone-Tech-5-sm...warm+white+LED
Size = 194

The map lights and dome light are all 194's, as are the running lights in the headlight housing and the licence plate light.

However, rather than a 194 in the dome, I ended up ordering this, and it fits perfectly into the existing space:

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

You only need 8x 194's (7 if you do the dome light like I did) to do the whole car, so a 10 pack would be fine. I opted for "warm white" over "white" as I feel white white is rather harsh.

Are they brighter than the stock lights? I'll just replace the dome light with a 194, I don't feel like hacking up the wiring to install something else.

No need to hack the wiring, it has an adapter and it plugs right in.

I'd say the 194 bulbs are a bit brighter than the stock bulbs, yeah, but the 48SMD board is incredibly bright and definitely worth it.

Oh I'll definitely go the big led then if it just plugs right in. Awesome! It's low on my priority list, but I'll get it done.
