Ron, I'm a little bit confused.
You just made this random discovery (that no one else in the world has made) and YOU haven't done any true scientific testing!!!!!????
Why haven't YOU done the 'further investigation'????

maybe:
1. want to keep a low profile........
2. don't want to stop the cash cow........
3. why bother, there are new suckers everyday.....
4. I dont have the slightest idea what I'm doing.......
(ron, please feel free to add your own)

I am sorry, but it seems you are reinforcing my opinion that this site is apparently populated by people with limited capability to accept anything that might force them into a paradigm shift.

Look it up.
Ron, please pay attention now. When someone here posts a random claim, we usually ask if they aba tested the mod. A simple quick search of aba or a-b-a proves that out. so your first "as I see here' is false.

I owe you an apology, Christ...
In an earlier post, I thought you were identifying yourself as J Shelby Christian (now deceased).

My mistake!

The very strength of your response is, as I can see, uncalled for, mcrews.

I am only concerned that the sheer power behind such negativity will necessarily preclude any "fair" response to any of my posts. No matter what data is presented, it will suffer from presentiment and bias.

For a group so into fuel efficiency, why is it I only see the posts of the dissenters and naysayers?

I believe it is because they choose not to be drawn into any battles with people like yourself.

It is a shame, truly, that none of you hear ever recognize that I am willing to allow you to do whatever testing on my process that you wish, and I will provide the modification at no cost, just to see the data that is produced.

Is there no one out there to accept my offer and end this silly condescension and derisive commentary?

It is not our responsibility to prove that your product works. That's your job.

Because you're selling something, you'll be held to a higher standard here than the average tinkerer/enthusiast talking about his latest mod.

For that reason, and because of the fantastic claims about the product, credible 3rd party testing is all I would accept.

EG: the "EPA Motor Vehicle Aftermarket Retrofit Device Evaluation Program" is an "EPA-approved" test methodology designed specifically for evaluating devices that claim to save fuel or reduce emissions.

(EDIT: and to be quite honest, that EPA test is still somewhat flawed, since it only recommends an A-B test, where most people here see the advantage of an A-B-A approach.)

Ron,
let me wrap this up and put a bow on it for you.
1. you are selling something publicly and making claims publicly. Welcome to the world of ownership and responsibilty. (obviously you seem to be unaware of your elevated status)
2. if your testing was as good as your eloquent deflection of each point we wouldn't be here right now.
3. quit whining like a newbie with a 73 pickup w/ 454-4bbl claiming 35mpg on the highway at 75 pmh.
4. I personally took offense to your claim that we had uor heads in the sand. (the paradigm comment). THAT was when my attitude started.
5. FYI, if you were on here any abount of time, and read posts that DIDNT have your name in them, you would realize that there are some VERY VERY smart posters on here from all over the world. In aerodynamics, flow, heat transfer, tire compound, oil, gasoline, regulations.....the list goes on.
6. And what you maynot realize is there is a pattern or 'bell curve' that develops in the macro and micro picture of 'posters'. In the macro world posters ramp up pretty quick with factual information and knowledge when they: a.) have to give b.) realize that the typical ecomodder poster can follow along. You have shown to NOT be one of those posters. your knowledge seem to be wrapped around a 'passive/aggessive, poor me for randomly discovering this' english language vocabulary which you artfully thrust about like a blunt fencing foil.
uppps, I covered macr & micro in the same sentence........dang.

Regarding the smart people...

Unfortunately, what I have found here is still my impressions.

Many people like myself have stumbled on things that make a change in their environment. Yet, being unfunded, have been unable to get the testing necessary to prove to your level of demands their developments.

As I started basically homeless, people like you fail to address the fact of the shortage of money as being an issue. To gat the tests necessary to satisfy your requests is going to cost in excess of $50K.

Wanna make me a loan?

Do you wanna do a test yourself?

Or do you want to just continue to diminish what you cannot understand?

I despise people that find it their goal in life to ferret out the failures in everything around them. They are a poison...

Those dedicated to solutions are the ones I admire.

Which do you think you are?

Gadgetman, I'm willing to test your product. Send me a throttle body for a 2007 Ford Mustang 4.0 Liter V-6 with your modifications, and I'll test it for 12 months and post my fuel log here as usual. If it improves my average fuel economy by 10% or more, I'll send you a check for the cost of the throttle body + $50 for your modification. If it doesn't, I'll return the modified throttle body to you, and you send ME a check for the cost of the fuel I burned testing it. Fair enough?
