Funny thing is I don't have any of those things lol! I have the opposite, air dam, front pan, Fiberglass tonnue cover and I'm thinking of adding smooth hubs to see if it improves highway mpg. I cant even make it 500 on one tank lol!

Let's do some math. The speed limit is 65 the whole way, and Cow decides to do 55 or 60. 800 miles would be ~13.5 hours with no stops. Now let's assume that for every 10 gallons you go through, you spend an average of 5 minutes per gas station (some fill fast, others slow). Yeah, I get around 60 mpg at 70 mph, but if I drive 55 the whole way I get more like 85 mpg. If I never had to stop and start and it was all highway miles, I could drive 55 mph and go way over 900 miles.

My wife wondered what it would cost us if we drove from central Florida up to southern Illinois to see her family. She was hoping maybe we could do it for less than 300 bucks. I told her if we took our time I could fill up as we left Lakeland and make it to Illinois on one tank, which is less than twenty bucks at this point. Round trip, including driving around for a couple hundred miles up there, would be about fifty bucks.

She doesn't get shocked easily after living with me, but that did it!

Nice math, only thing I'm going to argue with is that I can maintain over 90 mph at just over 2400 rpm so I wont be burning as bad as I was when I was going all out pedal to the floor 6200rpm drag racing

Not sure how well Turtle would hold up at 90 mph, but I'd be pulling over 40 mpg while it lasted! I'm assuming you'd be pulling maybe 10 mpg?
Actually, if I tucked in behind you at 90 mph I could pull between 50-60 mpg the whole time and wait ya out! If you pumped 35 gallons in your tank and I put the usual 9 gallons in mine, I think by 400 miles in I'd be driving and you'd be walking
