I don't complain about uncle Jordan more than I complain about the crazy radical left wing or the crazy radical right wing.
Yes, an indirect way to express something, pass a idea without necessarily say it in clear words, it's a bit dangerous or at least suspicious.

And I bet most of his followers would not being complaining about injustices if these injustices was from their side, favorable to them. Freak human nature... The same way women don't criticise when something injustice it's in favor for their gender.

Who is this Jordan person, and what exactly does he have to do with movies?

Jordan B. Peterson. I call hin uncle Jordan because there is a lot of fans in this forum, and many people on web appears to see hin a bit like a paternal figure.
I made many critcs about hin but I recognize a lot of things he said it's true and I noticed long time ago.

All Darc is so fond of Peterson that he calls him Uncle and brings up his name in very unrelated threads (unrelated to philosophy).

The most popular video is probably Peterson / Newman interview. It's a good representation of All Darc's criticism about Peterson's precise use of language, though it's difficult to watch because they aren't really having a dialogue. There are plenty of videos that include dialogue though.

All Darc says his speech is ambiguous (implies things unspoken), yet it's as clear as anything I've heard.

Actually I took it from Charles Foster Kane, when he called the president as uncle John.

Peterson / Newman interview it's not of help. It just shows how left wing radical labels people. The fact it labels people or cut their speak, don't mean the labelled people are necessarily ok or wise of like with the right answers for the world.

I couldn't get into Citizen Kane when I saw it at 18. I'll have to try again considering it's the best movie of all time. Perhaps I'd be more impressed if I had grown up watching movies at certain camera angles, and then see the more dramatic angles pioneered in Kane.

It was carefully restored from the best surviving film materials, since the camera negative perished in a 1970's fire. They used a fine grain master (a copy made in a film of high resolution using very fine silver grains and better than a conventional print) to restore the movie, and it looks very good.

In the movie his wife was the niece of John (USA president in the movie).

The scene I like the most it's the party scene, maybe because it's the scene I remamber most when watched it in early teens. Maybe it's a parallel to today's narcisism, since Kane payed a largew bunch of show man to praise hin with such eulogy and to tell hin he is great. Similar to people on Instagran and Facebook in seach of Likes an "friends".

And Orson Welles dancing was fun...

Similarly, viewers will think John Carter of Mars or Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets are more of the same-old-same-old when actually the source material had been strip-mined mercilessly for years before they were brought to the screen.

Citizen Kane: best movie of all time.... before 2001: A Space Odyssey.

If I recall, Citizen Kane had no point. I'm not big on movies with no point, like No Country For Old Men.

2001 was playing at 2am on OPB back when I first watched it in high school. I kept falling asleep during the 10min silent shots of things slowly rotating. Might have been my 6th attempt that I finally saw it through. It starts well, has a compelling storyline, fantastic music, and realistic physics. I could use faster pacing though, and could do without the psychedelics. Still, it's one of those movies I appreciate more each time I watch it, similar to my growing appreciation for Dr. Strangelove.

Not a movie for television. I saw it on Cinerama screens* 6 times when it came out. I took my parents and grandmother. (I think it was lost on her. )

The stargate sequence was groundbreaking for it's time but hasn't aged well. It was before fractals. Or CGI.

*new at that time.

edit:
I found this and it reminded me why Office Space is so great:
