Filler neck

Filler neck found it’s way in the truck nicely.

That works.

My concern is the rocker panels. Maybe you could follow the original curve and then hang a side skirt on that bottom flange.

Weight

I put the Ghia on the scale today. Numbers are looking good. I still have to add some sheet metal, but this is close to the final weight. My best guess is that I’ll come in around 2400 pounds.

Have you never considered replacing the filler cap for one that could be accessible from the outside?

That is almost exactly the stock curb weight of a 1998 Civic DX Coupe 5MT. You have a very light Prius, there.

If this was a race car I would need to know if you were in the seat and the fuel tank load. But I would want a little more weight in the rear, and I would need to know the front bar size? LOL
Looks great, I love your work!

Hey man I'm pretty impressed with how it's all fitting. Your seating position is perfect, dash fits perfectly, etc. Tires are a little wide but it's not terrible, they're likely already +45et offset so not much you can do.

I don't blame you for putting off the rocker panels but it might be time to rip that band-aid off. Here's how I made mine: https://youtu.be/nXk434kHBww

My VW body is a lot lower on the car than how you did yours, so it's a different situation but I think the principle will be the same. Bend some metal and weld it onto the VW door sill and the chassis pinch seam. I had to get the body as low as possible because the seating position of the Miata was so low that if the body wasn too high then I wouldn't be able to see out of the windshield! Of course I had fender clearance issues because it was "slammed" so I lifted the suspension 3 inches. Just finished it a few days ago actually and took it on a test drive.
