The first shift knob is done! As I expected, there are a few tweaks to be made. Thankfully its all little tweaks to make it work just a little better. This one will work great as is though. The fitment came out great, and the seam doesn't even show much at all.
I just need to find some green paint for it. 
So, lets see the pics already.

I was trying to price out the Martha Stewart branded filament, but couldn't find it quickly. The "regular" Makerbot filament was selling at Makerbot for $48 a kilogram at their site. Lots of different types of filament.

Okay Daox, I'm ready for at least a two-button version!
I installed the injector kill button on Turtle today, so I'm running out of room on the OEM shifter, lol!

I got around to wiring up my shift knob and installing it last night. The fit is very nice (IMO), and the button placement is good. I still need to paint the EM emblem on it.
Unfortunately, the switches that I thought were normally closed were not actually normally closed... So, I had to hold the button to start and run the car, and as soon as I let go it dies. That won't work. So, I need to find another switch that is actually NC, or put a NC relay in which is probably more likely. The relay is also a better failure mode device as it is more likely to fail in a way that still allows the engine to run.

I got some green paint the other night and took a first attempt at the logo. It came out alright, but not as nice as I had hoped. The paint was a bit too thick to lay nicely. The color is great though.
