I gave myself an hour this is how far I got. It might make sense to graft the V-S cabin onto the Valkyrie instead.

The part lifted from the Carrera GT ties into the cowl of a Beetle body. The annular tail piece is not shown.

That's because it's an half-body. The sides have twice the convergence as the top alone.

I get the Photoshop sketch in the sense of some air management for down-force and or radiators up front GT40-ish. Otherwise it's more convoluted than my eyes want to see at this time. Maybe once you get the rear done I can appreciate the whole package better.

Following the template sections I fail to see an increase in tangent angles of 2x for the sides.

However, the sides may not have to deal with the ground pressure wave in the same way the top does, so in theory I can see that happening.

Typical top view aero-template use/overlay below.

I can see an evolution of the Mott Taylor Aerocar, with the long driveshaft and tail permanently fixed instead of detachable. The rocker-arm front suspension is similar to the Carrera GT.

If you don't, I don't know how to help. It's the same curve just times two. The top is isolated from the bottom by the sides.

I wasn't thinking of massive cooling and downforce, so much as managing the wheelwells. Interestingly the Aeromobil (cue up Chuck Berry) shows a similar front wheelwell. Are those front wheels supposed to retract?

Okay, now I get the "times two" reference.

You didn't mean to say it's twice the angle, just that you use the same shape twice, once in profile and once in plan doubled over.

We agree.

Whew. Now I can stop worrying.
