your kidding me ?
today in SFL we got up into the mid/low 60's range, and tonite's low is projected in the mid/low 20's along with a decent windchill that should make it feel in the teens...
2 days ago our high was only about 74* and it hasnt hit 80 in at least 4 weeks...
crazy weather.

Cold enough that the lithium batteries in the outdoor sensor on the thermometer stopped working.
Ben, to keep the car door from freezing wax the metal where the rubber seal seats.

But it's cold enough again today that I'm putting on long johns, flannel lined pants, wool socks and I might even dig out my jacket instead of just a long sleeved shirt.

Door waxing hey? I might have to try that.

It's so cold that my engine heater's extension cord is frozen stiff.

41 and raining at the moment.

It's been an odd year here, for sure. It's not that any single day was particularly extreme, it just kept swinging from one to the other. Couple of times we saw record or near record daily highs and lows in the same week. And record rain for October, nearly 2.5 inches. I actually had to dig out my old raincoat :-)

12 degrees at noon.

I took the car out last night, and even with the block heater plugged in for 2 hours before leaving, the thermostat never opened on the entire trip.

Not looking forward to that kind of mileage.
