This is a stab in the dark...
Better known over here as the GLC or Great Little Car.
I saw a mint condition 4 door one recently (In bright loud orange !) , had not seen one in over 20 years.

You guys are in SOO much trouble as soon as I figure out how to download my camera of the approximately 1500 pictures taken so far in this trek. Spending this week at the Bonneville Salt Flats and have seen cars you will have to be an encyclopedia to figure out what they are. BTW saw my first new Fiat 500 yesterday driving down the show off road with the model T's and SUV's that as my son says big car small penis. Later good folk.

confused as too if the last one is done

i "think" i have a good one.

whats the name of the car.....
that's the first car in the USA to be "available" with a CVT trans, and in some models is also 4WD.

First CVT car was DAF I think, my mum had one as she found gears a challenge. Switching the engine off and reversing its direction to go backwards was not fun.

Was the Subaru Justy sold in the US ? Or maybe another Subaru model.

EDIT - the DAF had a 2-stroke engine and my guess is based on modern Subaru's having CVT, but I may be wrong as I think many Nissans do as well. Hmmm Tricky.

That was a shot in the dark - give a few minutes to come up with one. I had one prepared but that was at home...
