OK - here's one.

Bonus points for naming the car it is originally based on.

But for the odd feature between the taillights, I'd have to say Peugeot 405...

If you put the pics online anywhere, post or e-mail me a link. I'd love to be at Speed Week, but it's just not working out for me this year. With luck, I'll have my I/GC car ready in two years.

Another victim

Muuu hahahahahahaha

EDIT - A clue, look carefully at the rear suspension in the picture, compared to the setup of a Pug 405.

The 309 was based on the 205, or rather used the doors and centre section and suspension / steering.

It has an odd number (not ending '05') because it was not intended to be a Peugeot at all but a talbot - successor to the Horizon (also known as the Dodge Omni) when PSA bought Talbot from Chrysler for $1. PSA instead decided to just drop the Talbot name.

The 405 shared its underpinnings with the BX as has been tapped, but had conventional suspension instead of the Hydro setup of the Citroen.

None of this is relevant to this car though...

Ahh, you have hit it. The RD from Iran, based on the Paykan, based on the Hillman Hunter and sold to the Iranian Government by Chrysler.

You seem to be champion car anorak material...
