Does it have A-arms or what? My Macpherson struts are adjustable, I could return it to the lowest [or stock] setting at any time.

aand it's running on the road.

thermostat changed and my buddy got the ignition electrics fixed. Also the horns and radio, some soldering must be done to the cluster so the lights will work and change sensor for water temp

already put 500km on it already and it seems to run well.

MPG will be calculated soon.
gearbox is a bit hard-shifted, but it's gotta hold until i get the 2.5TDI installed, then i'll get a M90 gearbox

and now the temp sensor works!

radio too.

Just some smoothing out soldering faults in the gauge cluster.

mileage doesn't seem ultra bad, judging from the fuel meter. It also seems my car has a limited slip differential.

That massive power has to come from somewhere

Once had a land cruiser bj75, it gulped 12L/100km even if you'd drop it from an airplane

It does seem quite thirsty for a Diesel.

Would it be possible to fit some flip-n-fold seats or jump-seats for occasional passenger transport while keeping it registered as a van?

Presumably the side-facing ones usually found in the wheelchair spot in urban transit buses might not be accepted by the office of vehicle registry there, so maybe something similar to the 3rd-row seating of the 1st-gen Fiat Doblò could be used.

due to regulations, no seats are allowed in the "cargo" area

Got nice mileage by driving calmly on the highway in the cold finnish winter :O driving highway at 50mph/80kmh because of winter speed limit. i am already VERY satisfied with current mileage. Can't wait how well it'll be
