Get a trailer if you want to haul 4X8 sheets.
Personally I like the Prius C better.

so...
i find it odd that the eV range isn't mentioned on the Prius V's website.
i find it even weirder that NOONE else knows what the range of the eV mode is either. how frustrating. I'd call toyota, but i don't want to have to dodge them for the rest of my life.

If it has the same 1.4kWh (1.3?) battery pack that the stock Prius has, the EV range will be similar.

I measured it at the LA Car Show. I was measuring for 57". and it *barely* fit, so a 4x8 is no good.
It's close to the same as my mini-wagon, but I would say it has less space in the vertical direction because of the batteries.
I would call it a Toyota Prius-Matrix.

Sure it's the easier way, but on a hybrid there plenty of more complex things.

dueto the hybrid, the rpm are adapted to the needed level. the gearing has more effect for the elektric parts, than for the rpms.
the V has more drag and rollresistance, so if the prius is geared right, the prius V needs a change for sure. |
