Saw a first gen Insight the other day. Nothing especially exceptional about it, but it had a huge Mercedes logo on the rear hatch (like the one you would see on a Sprinter or other large vehicle). Drove by too quickly to get a pic, but thought it was funny.

Had that been a Toyota instead of a Honda, wouldn't really surprise me, as the Brazilian derivative of the 40-series Land Cruiser had Mercedes-Benz engines through most of its production run.

Sure this might not be the most fuel-efficient model, but a 31y.o. dedicated-ethanol Monza (the Opel-based Brazilian model) is not something so easy to see anymore.

Notice the "ÁLCOOL" badge.

There were times when it was much easier to spot a '95 Fiesta

There are some mistakes, such as pointing the Opala as a contender to the Corcel, to which an actual contender from GM was the Chevette.

Finding a mid-to-late '90s Corsa that stock is not so easy anymore. Those wheelcovers nowadays are quite unobtainium...

Nowadays it's becoming much harder to spot an Asia Motors Towner.

I wouldn't be so surprised if Tom Brady actually knows the owner of this Ford Ka, as it's currently titled in his wife's hometown

It's not so easy to see an early Fiat Uno Mille with this front fascia, as many were "modernized".
