Did you reset tank with LEFT and MIDLE buttons?

1. You have to tell what distance and tank usage shows OBDuino
Not in setting, but one of PID's,
By default you see these number on 3rd screen.

2. Clear all memory with http://www.arduino.cc/en/Tutorial/EEPROMClear
Upload OBDuino, and report same numbers after driving few km.
(do not change any settings).
Or did you modified code?

I did reset the tank.

Here are data from 3rd screen now after reseting the tank and short drive

INST CONS 4,05 L/100 TNK DIST 25,8km
TNK FUEL 1,05 L DIST2MT 1442km

I can try to clean arduino memory next week and I will post numbers from 3rd sreen.

Can you see something from this number now?

As you see "TNK DIST 25,8km" is not normal. It should be almost same as odometer. max 10% difference could be, but your is too much (25.8 OBDuino, and 3-4km in odometer).

Did this value droped to 0 after reseting?

Add "SPEED" pid to screen and does it shows correct speed?

Did you modified "speed adjustment" or something?

Is ST's L9637 a good replacement for MC33290 ? It looks very similar, but as with Si9243 - 'different'... ?

This one should work too. Pinout, circuit and description looks ok.
You should test it and confirm it or not

Hi everybody!

I am finishing job with my obduino. Memory clear is finished, bootloader reloaded, and fresh obduino v191 is uploaded to arduino board. Today I will check my average fuel consumption. I did not change anything just set TANK FUEL on 60L (tank of my car is 60L)

Should I change or reset something more?

Or just reset TANK when I fill up the tank?

Somebody has some kind of USER MANUAL for OBDuino?

Thanks

For tank size you have to change "Tank Size"
Config menu->Adjust->Tank size
Where did you find "TANK FUEL"?

And you should change something if something is not working.
Do not change if everything is ok.

And yes - reset tank after you fill it (full).

There is no manual - it is DIY project and it is assumed that obduino32K.txt (in google trunk near obduino32K.pde) is enougth. And comments in obduino32K.pde are self explaining.
Plus here we have 75 forum pages with most issues discussed. For all new with OBDuino it is a must to read it all.

It would be great if somebody could write documentation and maintain it, or fill
opengauge - Open Source Fuel Efficiency Instrumentation - Google Project Hosting wiki page.

When I fill up my fuel tank and reseting it, is there something else what should be reset too like trip data or outing data (right and midle button)?

What else should I do with obduino settings to get proper average fuel readings?
