We just now got the 5 cubic yards of cement poured and leveled for the shop. PHEW!! That was a job. My wife was a huge help, dragging the 2x4 across to level it. Then I'll have a place to put the mill. Hurray!

Two 4'x8' pieces are on the roof now out of a total of 8 of them. Then I need to figure out a door, but I can get the mill assembled now, once I figure out how to transport the 200 pound pieces. haha. Here's a picture:

There was a catastrophic error in the AC code this whole time. It's a miracle that it was working at all. I had the following to ENABLE complementary output mode:

PWMCON1bits.PMOD1 = 1; //
PWMCON1bits.PMOD2 = 1;
PWMCON1bits.PMOD3 = 1; //

BUT, that was to DISABLE complementary output mode!! The deadtime wasn't working the whole time!

That is a bit of a futz xD

Poorly noted? Cus really unless its defined as a disable... 0 should be off sillies.

;p well, can't say its worse than my futzing = instead of == from time to time lol.

Open Revolt AC

Hi Paul,

I just finished my EV. I have a 100Amps power stage used with an industrial VFD but the main board died after a few weeks. I found some PCBs and firmware for your AC controller. Would I be able to use it? If so can you supply PCB's?

Many Thanks

I've been EAGERLY anticipating boards as well . I have a FINE collection of industrial VFDs that could use a brain transplant.

Is there anything I can do (or perhaps someone else) to assist you, Paul?

Hi, are you refering to me or Paul?

I have the power section done with optocouplers for the IGBT, isolated power supplies, etc. I just need a suitable controller to drive this and I would like to try something different from a VFD CPU.

For those interested in my conversion search google for VW polo with industrial ac motor.
