We do need to build paul a new coupler!!! Weird. That was all caps, and it made it all lowercase.

Hurray!!! Wouldn't it be hilarious if some guy had a motor controller in his room, so that each time he wanted to "set the mood", he dimmed the house lights by twisting the throttle? hahaha.

Baby, I love you... Let me turn on the 12v auxiliary battery, honey, so that I can dim the lights. hahaha.

Need help on labeling

Hi,

Now i've got it together and tested it on an lightbulb i'm starting to doubt that i've labeled the bus bars correct. On some pictures of cougar controllers the M- and B- are the other way around.

See picture.. is that correct?

http://blog.evombouw.nl/image.axd?picture=image_41.png

p.s. I've tried to look it up in the schematic.. but the link in the wiki is broken.

I put together a controller for me! hurray! I have one now. It's one of the new ones too, so I can test it a little more wild and crazy. Also, I just saw the best movie in history. I highly recommend it. It's called "Mega Shark Vs. Crocosaurus". It sounds like it wouldn't be very good, but you should see it on Netflix. ONe of the best movies ever made.

Finally done with the bike controller. Now just need to dig out that old starter and do a few 12v tests. Then unleash it on the twin motors

I fitted 1R 1W emitter resistors to the igbt modules. This is to allow for better current sharing according to that powerex app note.

Have a problem....
I was in the mood of assembling the Malexis current controller and found that the silk screen in the PCB is unreadable.
Then I downloaded the Wiki files for the same PCB but I'm unable to open these ones with the GNU Image Manipulation program that come attached to the .GBR files. I tried also the DesignSparks program with no luck at all.
I can't read the parts positions on the PCB.
Any help?
