Revision 2D isn't really a revision as much as a completely different board that was made by the Australians. I'm not sure if they are still making them, but you have the "2C" board. That's the only one I've ever had. I'll email you the schematic. .....

Thanks Paul, must have missed that in the posts somewhere. I'm hoping to start working on it this weekend (if my homework doesn't take me too long. Never thought I'd be back in school at the age of 53!!).

Paul,
I was cking your site Paul & Sabrina's EV Stuff! to see if you have put out the kit for the AC controller but it looks like you haven't. Do you have any news on that? I'm holding on an AC-50 combo for my bike because, after seeing your video, you have convinced me that maybe I can build an AC controller.
Let me know if you have something.

The boards are supposed to get here today! But they aren't here right now. It was supposed to be before noon. I'm working on the dimensions of the bus bars and base plate now and ordering it today. I was going to try a water cooled baseplate just to break the boredom. haha. My local metal shop had 1/2" and 3/4", so I went with 3/4" thick. It's overkill, but I wanted to have room to drill in the side of it and mill nice channels right under where (haha underwear) the 24 igbts will be clamped.. Well, they will be soldered to copper, and the copper will be clamped against the base plate. I'm hoping for around 60-70 kwatt. Actually I'm hoping that the pile of crap just works. hahaha.  Once it works (there! I'm being positive), I'll put together a kit for it. Oh please please please work.
I just finished the BOM for it last night. |

Hooray!!! About water cooling this the one that I have been using for years in my pc. There are few products that I trust nowadays and this is one of them. BTW the B version is the basic non controllable pump. Mine has only the RPM sensor so if you want the controllable one minus the B version.

Wow Paul! I ordered a controller kit on Wednesday and it arrived today, Saturday. That was the quickest two to three weeks of my life, lol.

hahaha. Well, I would like to say that I'm really amazing and what not, but we mailed it to you on accident. It was supposed to go to some poor guy in England. haha. That just means that I'll work like the wind and get his out next week.

oh it's no biggie. The guy's name is Paul also and (therefore?) didn't care at all.
I finally got the BOM for the 1000amp and AC controller done, and I've ordered parts for both. I didn't have enough money, but... Everyone can thank DanScott for filling in the gap! haha. It's true.
