I hate to be the bad news messenger, but a Scangauge won't work on a 92. It's only for OBD-II vehicles, 1996 and up, with a few 1995's that were ahead of the game.

not so much a personal best, more a "surprisingly high low"

last tank had lots of traffic (and associated "sprinting" to make up time), and lots of running about town work..

still got 359 miles to 47.47L- giving me 34.40mpg IMP.

Even in a hurry, I'm hypermiling

my best to date (since end Aug) has been 35.88mpg

Every cloud ...

We've had extreme weather here in the Blue Mountains over the last weeks.
High temperatures, low humidity and high winds = early bushfire season. Hundreds of homes lost and it's not over yet.

However, the "silver lining" in this is the opportunity for a new personal best of 5.11 l/100km (46 mpg) for Baa.

Now, if we can just keep the temperatures without the bushfires, this could be a great summer in regards to FE.

2.65 kg/100km of CNG over 290 km.
(NEDC - the EU's EPA value - is 2.9 kg/100km)

Not too shabby.
There was still room for improvement, as I lost a bit here and there, even got stuck in a traffic jam.

Done on a mix of 3/4 High caloric CNG and 1/4 Low caloric CNG - meaning I lost a bit there as well.

As a reference :
Gerhard Plattner used 2.39 kg/100km (using only High caloric CNG) on his record trip in a nearly identical twin of my car.

That's only 10% less than what I was using.
I guess I have my next target ...
