Going to leave on the heater to cure off then make a mirror support. I'd estimate 270g including glass when done..

The mirrors are a way off but all the parts including the glass pretimming weigh 225 so would think 220g would be the final ball park for them

Nearly finished mirrors, now I read this https://asia.nikkei.com/Business/Com...s-in-new-model

Going to keep mirrors but may replace the glass with 2mm acrylic

I did 0-60 yesterday, 8.2s. Disappointing as I though it was around 7

Anyway weight was questioned before, so 110hp at 8.2s = 857kg

My other prius battery (lower mileage) feels a bit more spritely so a clean of the busbars and a fully warmed up battery I think could get that comfortably down to under 8

Also found another kg weight..?? Theres no way it's a futuristic vehicle!

It does pickup faster on hot days after a run, this was midway between warmed up

The bumper is nearly done however the last parts it has to be turned upside down and it will be a two day dry...I dont want to move it until its completely hardened. It will also need work fitting and aligning

I would think if you have a very tight budget, 300g woven glass fibre would still give very good results, a 3rd heavier than carbon but less than half price

Well I'd say the gearbox was futuristic. And once ceramic neodymium becomes mainstream in a few years that might be something (its made organically by really clever japanese guys) A++
