An advertising concept.

It reminds me more of Gordon Buehrig's 1948 TASCO. Open front wheels and the four-piece compound curved windshield.

I do not consider that fact, or many similar postings, to be of general interest to this discussion and worth my time to click on.

It's always worth checking to see if it's the last of a flurry of posts.

He (Louis J. Fageol (pronounced fadjl)) immediately obtained a new 356 coupe, and installed a second Porsche engine up front, successfully campaigning it in several SCCA events in the Midwest. This led to the creation of a totally new chassis, complete with a new body constructed from two Fletcher Aviation drop tanks. It looked as advanced as it was, for All Wheel Drive cars were rare and racing AWDs were even rarer. It was also complex. In addition to the duplication of controls (a problem which confronted all such twin-engine efforts), Fageol decided to supercharge the engines, and run the superchargers via two Fageol chain saw engines. That made it a four-engine race car!

The body of that twin-engined Fageol-Porsche has so many references. Its front reminds me of the Jaguar XK-120 somehow.

Does anyone else find it odd that the drag of rollover bars is apparently ignored? It is not at all hard to halve the drag of a tube normal to the wind, and a careful job with foam and a skin could reduce it 90%. If I were more mobile, I'd go to Bonneville with enough supplies to do a few old cars and make some guys very happy.

I would check whether that will pass the tech inspection. They can get picky.

Slightly longer and a little more slanted than the hood of other similar trucks I used to see.

Odd enough, those American trucks (and some Mexican counterparts such as this Dina D9400 Eagle) from the 90s tended to be more aerodynamic than most of the Euro stuff of the same period most often found here.

I'll have to look up the CD's on these two cars, might be closer than I first thought.

Automotive joint ventures are all the rage nowadays, and these two coupes - despite different brand images - share the same co-developed BMW/PSA Peugeot Citroen 1.6-litre powerplant. In fact it's just one of a family of joint engines that can be found under the bonnet of everything from a BMW 118i to a Citroen C3.
