I'm using a scanner so that some of the pictures need rotation. I do that in Mac OSX Preview application and save successfully. The picture appears correctly oriented on my desktop. When I import into the album it is re-un-rotated again.

I went back to the desktop and took a screen grab of exactly what I see there and imported it. That's the most recent one, the PNG. The original is a JPEG. Heck—here they are:

It may not be vBulletin's problem. But if Preview saves the original and an edit list, like some other programs do, how does that get captured in JPEG and how does vBulletin know to do that?

It's spooky! A reproducable glitch in the Matrix.
The sideways picture displays correctly if I save it to my Mac. And I see this in the picture info: Orientation: 8 (Rotated 90° CCW)

My version of Preview (Version 4.2 (469.5) on OS 10.5.8) seems to save the pictures truly rotated. I rarely use that feature, since I have Photoshop Elements.

Fuel log - Fill Date

Not a complaint, merely an observation.

The garage can't cope with entries from different time zones very well.

I filled Metric early this morning, Saturday 3rd of October, while America was still enjoying Friday 2nd October.

I corrected the “fill date” when entering the fuel log, it seems the system can't handle that.

I should point out that this is the first entry since May.
After entering the log, it shows the fill on the list and the graph, but also displays -
90-day Fuel Economy:*no fills in past 90 days
The garage list displays no mpg figure, the bike doesn't appear on the top ten lists or on the team competition list.

I thought the system might update Metric's status once America “caught up” to Saturday 3rd, but it seems that isn't the case.

The moral of this story is – don't change the fill date, or in my case, don't enter fuel logs until mid afternoon.

If you change just one letter in a comment in a fuel log it will recalculate its 90 day period.
You'd lose fillups that are over 90 days ago at that point, even if they weren't at the time of the last log entry.

By the way, did you set your time zone in the User Control Panel?
If not, try it out; that may just solve the issue.
I set mine and never had trouble - but then I rarely fill up&register before like 8 AM so I would not know anyway

To set the time zone go to User CP,
under Settings and Options (in the left part) click on Edit Options
and scroll down for the Date & Time Options.

I'm on a Crapintosh running Chrome, and for the last month or so, I hove noticed that the ads on EM will crash the site. I get a banner message telling me that Flash has crashed.
I downloaded the latest version, but still get constant crashing.
It gets so bad that even typing a simple word takes several seconds.
What am I doing wrong ?

I might try another browser, but it was working fine before, and it also has all the settings I have grown used to.

What OS ? 10.6.8 ...why don't I upgrade ? Well after reading about users losing data, I think I'll pass. Also pass words and such are a concern.
Will I lose all of that too ?

What hardware : MacbookPro 2.4 i5 4 GB ram Hard drive has around 30 % ( ? ) free space left.

What does Activity Monitor say ...uh ...I dunno ...what does it say ?
( What and where is this Activity Monitor ? )

As far as other sites. no issues.

10.7 is right on the edge of where I'm comfortable. Seamonkey with AdBlock Plus doesn't even show ads. But page scrolling is broken and it corrupts animated GIFs. I use Chrome for viewing Flash™ content. It seems no one browser does everything.

Activity Monitor will be in Applications/Utilities. It shows, among others, network activity, disk space and memory usage.

Total fuel used. The amount listed in Gal (US) and liters. Consumption does not appear to electricity.

You can change to bring KWH or MWH?

KWH and MWH are. Kilowatt hour. Megawatt hour.
