In Portland, the wet bicycle city, you probably get alot of interest.

Its #1 feature is it makes people smile, Some are like "What a tool" others are like "OK, thats cool" . but everybody smiles. Guy walked upto me today and asked if I was tired of answering questions about it yet!

As I get used to it and get the adjustments set the way they are supposed to be I enjoy it more and more. Gonna miss the ability to drive the freeways but Ill survive.


So... Little projects.

Boxed in the footwell a little bit to help redirect airflow and keep my footers warm. Just choroplast and duct tape till I decide if I like the design.



Started on the tail. Wanted full skirts but the tilt and suspension action make it a challenge. My first try the reinforcment bar ran from the bottom of the cargo rack to the bottom of the body, but this interfered with the tire while tilting. Gonna have to bubble it out or just leave it open



Simple splash guards will have to do for the moment.

You can get them new for $10,000 You can get used ones in good shape for $3000- $4000

I payed $2000 as it had some cosmetic issues. And thats fine with me since I will be bolting stuff all over it anyways.

depending on angle of turn and speed from not at all to waaaay over. It can achieve angles well beyond what I am willing to submit myself to. Now.... I have been riding motorcycles since the 70s, so I am not scared to tilt it quite a bit.

dam... I see these (cheapo) all the time in ghetto ads. And have been wanting to build one from scratch myself, just curious, how much HP does that thing have, how is acceleration, and handling of inclines? Never really looked at the Tilt/Pivot point to see flaws/defects and pros to different designs, what is your initial take on this particular chassis design?

Not real steep, but this was as far as I felt comfortable leaving it standing on its own, I can unlock the tilt-lock and lay it WAY over. May recruit a friend to get a picture of this later.

Not sure on the HP, Just a honda gy6 150cc motor. initial acceleration is pretty snappy but gets kinda wheezy about 40mph, handles hills well at sub 45 mph. Top end the motor really runs out of power.

Id rather have a more recumbent seating position and a lower profile, this one has a high
Center of gravity and this is agrivated by the soft springs/dampeners.
