Side skirts!

I finally took the time and built the courage to drill into my van and install these side skirts. Just simple ABS strips, VHB tape and push fasteners.
They hang down just a hair higher than the front splitter. Exhaust and fuel tank stick down about 1/2-1" below the skirts still.
Don't know if or what effect they might have, hopefully keep some air from hitting the back tires. I think it looks pretty good too.

Looks good! Based on tuft tests I did on my skirts, it looks like they do limit air from going under. And on that van, that's a good thing! Is that a 1st gen Civic?

Thanks guys.
Yep, that's my ´79 Civic. 80,000 km on it :-)
I tend to let these projects stew in my brain until they have distilled themselves to the simplest and cleanest solution. I'm pretty happy with the result, I prefer an (almost) stock look.
Maybe I will tuft test sometime and see what is happening down there.

The rims on the Odyssey were removed from a 2016 Civic SI by the dealer, I got them brand new :-). 18" with 215/55R18 Michelins, the narrowest 18" skins I could find.
The rims on the Civic are from a 1st gen accord. Funky 4x120 bolt pattern unique to the 1g civics and accords. They took me a while to find...
It's got 165/60R13's on it. Stock was 145/80R12!
