smallest mirrors

I am just wondering if any one has a reference to the smallest or most aero side mirrors. I really like having my mirrors but am looking at still getting the old girl more aero (1994 Subaru Legacy wagon)

you should modify a dental mirror to fit in a ball joint . that would be incredibly small and satisfy legalities. I would actually like at scooter mirrors if you want something usable.

move your mirrors to the inside and use the largest you can fine that works best for you, mine are 4x8 with no blind spots, just check the laws on what is ok to do.

I thought about the move to inside or even motorcycle mirrors, but im leaning more still to a car mirror. I understand it wont be as efficient as the others. But I use my mirrors a lot for driving im not sure i want to give the mirrors up, but I am still trying to gain efficiency and there has to be something much better than the stockers

If I were starting from scratch I would try these :

Quote:
ARCTIC CAT WING MIRROR - M15
2.5" x 4" convex acrylic safety lens installed in an impact resistant black case. May be mounted thru hood or on the exterior with adhesive lock mounts.

Sorry, that's from my album. Can't find a URL. Maybe they're out of production, .

I was thinking about either going full digital. small camera and twin LCD's

OR combo. small inside mirror and then nice big giant mirrors on the outside but "FLAT" and "HINGED" so above 40mph I hit a switch and the mirrors fold flat against the door window.

activate a turn signal and that mirror swings open. slow below 40mph and the mirrors open.

ideally. in my instance (if I ever did it) I would manually control them.

best of both worlds. nice large easy to view mirrors and "zero mirrors" (except the inside mirror) at speed. but available by flipping a switch.

Old dautsun z cars had a bullet shaped mirror housing on a rather thin pedestal. I've thought these would be good replacements.
