jake,
WELCOME!!!!!
Now ther are 2 4.5L q45 MOTORS on this site.
you are much braver and younger than I. I left mine in the F50 body!!!!!

My treck to better mpgs was three stepped.
1. using the mpg screen in the car, I started driving 'easier' and got the ecm & tcm to learn the mpg mode.
2. Going to a larger diameter tire 245/50/18 on the stock rims. Lowered my rpms at highway speed to around 1800rpm
3. all the other stuff: scangaugeII, and aero mods(IMPUL body kit, underbelly pans etc)

Check out the links in my signature!

Yes

That actually would be a HUGE gain, 43%, but there are other factors involved. Definitely check out the Unicorn Corral, there are literally dozens of threads on the subject, and they all have a common element...bs.

BTW, normal driving can vary that much, look at my mileage, +45% over the EPA estimates....

Hydrogen is probably more a placebo affect than anything if some1 goes from tromping the gas in city driving then goes to the highway with their lead foot at home to test hydrogen there is going to be a big difference

Looks good, loving that 240... but yeah, are you overheating at all with the grill blocks? I had an issue with that on my lil 4-banger...

Dude no way! All summer it was over 100 degrees and I never even heard the fans turn on. Idk what it is about civics but they just don't get how. This winter I'll probly block the entire bumper

Are you tracking temps with a ScanGauge or UltraGauge. The fan will come on around 206 degrees. It is not loud enough to hear inside the car unless the car is off, or maybe idling at a stand still. My grill blocks guarantee that the fan will come on when driving city streets, under 80% load, up some sustained hill or other. Most other situations do not set them off, even freeways, except in unusually hot weather.

I'm just using my stock temp gauge lol. All I know for sure is the only time it ever turns on is like when I'm stopped for a long time
