The following is not something that happens very often. The roads here really aren't that good, but, since the transmission is finally working superbly here is the shot I couldn't seem to get last year. Once up and over the hill, Centurion turns on!

Just for the record, this is a one-shot deal.

So we can say 88mph is the official top speed?

Yes, but only for this particular video. At the current setting, the governor is the rpm limiter and ultimately the speed limiter. Given a decent stretch of flat road, and a quick adjustment on the high speed screw, I have no doubts she'd walk right on by 88 mph..

This thing could very likely beat a land speed record. Not many entrants in naturally aspirated diesel 700-850cc.

Shut down
-
When travelling, it's quite amazing how many people pull up alongside Centurion and try to provoke a race. With just 17 horsepower of Kubota diesel tractor engine, most of these offers are politely turned down.
-
But every once in awhile one comes along that is just so persistent and annoying, that really needs to have the smack-down put on them. You know the ones.
-
Today was such a day and let me tell you, victory was sweet!! I'm not happy with running my car so hard to win this race, but I am happy that I won and sent this antagonizer off into the sunset!

That is one big snapper. He could have won just by biting your tire...

Considering most vehicles people are buying need a lot more than just 17hp to keep up with traffic, I'd say the Centurion is really making the most of its ponies.
