I see in the pic that you still have steel wheels under the smooth covers (or is that a spare?). Anyway, assuming its your regular wheel, you could lose as much as 4.5 kilos per wheel going to a lightweight alloy wheel. And considering it is rotational mass you'd be reducing, you can multiply the weight two or three times to begin to get a sense of the effect on performance. The effect could be 40+ kilos.

No those are lupo original aluminium wheels (they do look like steelies). Wheel + tire 145/80R14 weight is now ~9 kg with 1mm thread depth left. So there is not much to lighten there.

Do you know its other specs? Offset, bolt pattern, lug size, and center bore? On "wheel-size.com" is see:
155/65 R14 6x14 ET45 4x100 mm Bolt: 12*1.5 57.1

Is that right? If so, it suggests the Lupo wheels would probably fit a 1992-2000 Civic with the addition only of 1mm spacer rings because the Lupo center bore is larger.

Only thing left to do is to test the Lupos Cd with coast down ABA tests. After that this car will start its third life as standing mile drag race car. Propably next week car will be dismantled and technigue is taken out. Lupos 1.2 TDI engine will find new loving home in my next project.

It's a bit sad to see it becoming a drag racer, now that it has reached its goal of 2L/100km.

Reason is related only to Finnish/eu laws and my money situation. Project will come alive propably summer 2015 better, faster and ofcourse more efficient. I can propably get custom approval but it costs money which I dont have at the moment.

Also weather starts to be cold in this summer so I cannot drive far from home as windows will begin to get mist on the evening which aint nice.

And most people think its only possible to reach these insane fuel consumption numbers with small stripped car, but that thing will be proven wrong in my next project as the next car will be Audi A8 b2. On lupo I proved that its possible to improve 33% of the bast fuel efficiency vehicle now its time to prove you can get 50% improvements on the Audi.

Cd 0.221 and Crr 0.0079 So I was able to reach same drag coffefficient as MB CLA blue efficiency model which has needed numerous hours in CFD, wind tunnel and big bugs. So I reached best production car Cd up to date with internet, books and tuft testing and virtually zero budget. I wonder what those figures would have been if I would have put all my coming innovations to this car?
