Where to find ethanol-free gas.
Ethanol Labeling Laws - State by State Guide.
Most states require gasoline containing ethanol to be labeled as such.
Ethanol-free gas stations in the U.S. and Canada
This site has a user-generated list of stations where ethanol-free gas is available. The site doesn't verify the information, so it could be wrong our out of date - but in most states, it will be labeled.
I'd encourage you to check the label on your gas pump, and add any ethanol-free stations that you know of to the list.
Too bad I just fueled up. I would like to try a tank of ethanol-free gas and see what happens. I guess I'll have to wait another 750 miles (fingers crossed!)

What are they using to oxygenate it? MBTE?

With MTBE banned in 25 states, the answer is pretty much "not outside of Dixie".
But it's a good question. What are the alternative oxygenates? What about underoxygenated fuel?

the only place that sells ethanol free gas in florida i have found is certain sunoco's. the problem is that the gas is 110 octane and costs about $8.00 per gallon. sort of defeats the purpose of it. although the 110 works great in my banshee atv!

Luckily they sell pure gas no ethanol added at a local Shell station here.

i could be wrong however i don't think its the 260. right on the pump it says it contains lead and is not a legal street fuel , the store clerk wont sell it to you if you try to pump it right into the gas tank.

The Cenex stations I've been to have ethanol free gas.

Actually there was an independant gas station in the Keys that sells Ethanol free gas. My guess is most people there use it in their boats. They also sell it for $3.19 a gallon vs $2.79 ish available now.
