I visited honda-tech. It's all about ground-scraping, vtec-revving, fast-n-furious stuff. I am amazed to see someone asking about swapping in a tall-geared VX transmission for the gas mileage. (they usually swap the other way for "performance")

Maybe all you foreigners do it all the time? I have never heard it in Sweden anyway.
