You know you are an Eco Modder when you search out and buy a VW Dasher 1.5 diesel that can only make it up a hill when you turn off the A/C

-or you have everyone in the car lean forwards going downhill to coast further:-)

You hit a deer at night, hood flies up and completely covers the windshield, headlights gone, and your first thought is "Damn, first tailwind in over a month, weather report is for tailwind on the return, AND NOW MY ONE CHANCE FOR A GOOD FILL IN WINTER IS GONE!". All before the truck comes to a stop.

I had this happen to me today, a sure sign I drive a modded car... I pulled into a set of corner strip stores parking lot and go to park at one end. Just as I am getting out of the car someone from the daycare at the other end comes out and asks " I do not want to sound weird, but can you park in front of the big windows over there so the kids can see your car?"

I decided it was worth the gas to move the car so 20 kids could have fun/ be distracted by my car for a while When I got out the car all the kids noses were pressed up to the windows looking at the car!

YKYAEM, when you want to kick the butt of your neighbour who is idling his car for at least 30 minutes each morning. Because"He don't want to stress a cold engine with driving"...

When your buddy comes over and says " wanna play some COD?", and your mind instantly starts imagining a coefficient of drag video game.
