The hill looks smaller in the picture. (On US Hwy 2 between Spokane and Seattle, going West.)
I have been on that hill going up and the whole way up I was thinking I need a 2-4 mile coast down flat spot if I were going down this hill not a stop sign!

I was in a rental car but my trix would have gotten up some good speed on that hill.

You know you are an ecomodder if you consider adding a vacuum pump to run the brake booster while you are EOCing so that you can still stop quickly.
Me? I swear at the underside of my car and call it a lazy bucket because it has such bad aero.

Or maybe a little further on when you spend a number of internet hours researching the parts used in a Prius...

I need to find something better than cardboard to do it.
I need to drop my rear bumper anyway since I see some rust hideing behind it and the bumper moves too much, I plan to skirt it and bellypan the rear while I deal with the rust and the loose bumper. I doubt that it will happen until summer since I'm majoring in enginnering (takeing 16 units without any general education classes,) working a part time job to pay for gas, driveing about 8 hours a week, and I'm still wasteing time here... I am starting to suspect that I hate myself.
I'll likely end up adding a front air dam sooner since my car has quite a bit of clearence that is likely eating up FE.

COROPLAST under body plates

Them signs that politicians use to gather attention to them when the voting is happening, yes, THOSE signs are really good for "RE-CYCLING" into one of our project vehicles!
Easy to cut and shape, easy to install and very easy to "acquire" if your politicians are done doing their "thing"...
DID I say CHEAP !?! (LOL)

One day, I'll finish my project...

I haven't been able to post as much lately but had a new ecomodder moment the other day. Next sunday I am competing in an autocross, and want to have as little fuel as possible in the car. So I realized that YKYAEI when you have to plan your fill ups 2 weeks in advance in order to burn through the tank in time.

YKYAEM if ...

... you break the New European Driving Cycle fuel consumption numbers on the first drive with a new car

2.7 kg/100km CNG (indicated) compared to 2.9 kg/100km on the NEDC.
And I'm not even hypermiling it , just taking it easy.
We'll see what the pump says though.

Good going, Euro! Beating the NEDC is not easy with a car you know, let alone something totally new.
