April 8 total eclipse - anybody else see it?

Did anybody else get to see it?


This was my first total eclipse, and it was pretty amazing.



It clouded over in my little city about an hour before totality, so we raced down the freeway...

I think it had to do with the relative pricing of the Prius - it was much more expensive here compared to the States, even after accounting for currency differences.

5-year update!

My friends still have the Prius.

It's had a bit of a rough go in its life thus far:


- 2 minor fender benders (neither their fault) covered by insurance;
- hail damage...

Metakoo e-bike 1 year review... bought a Jetson Bolt Pro!

Just over a year later, I've put about 750 km on the "Metakoo" mountain e-bike. I added a rear basket, fenders, lights and a bell.

It does exactly what I want it to do. 99% reliable & useful.

First tank over 1000 km!

Ended up filling at 1048 km = 651 miles, at 3.1 L/100 km = 77 MPG (US)
