Needs to be able to carry your family and 10-14 days of essential supplies (via small trailer) a very long distance. Travel speed irrelevant so long as it's economical. Otherwise a waste of metal.

Yah, that seems a bit high for mixed driving. My Dakota quad cab is lucky to get 21 MPG on the highway, and normally averages about 16 MPG in mixed driving.

You may want to go over your SGII setup...
