Woops covering the lower grill was a bad idea. Temp went to 220 pretty fast. Cut a couple 2"holes which made it better but ended up cutting a 12"x 5" hole in the center to bring it down to 180ish. Only got 47mpg using the hot shot secret oil & fuel treatments. 603 miles with still 1/4 tank left
There are no changes in performance or noticeable difference in volume of the engine. If mpg does not improve then the Hot Shot Secret is useless in this application.

Filled up tank for the 2nd time on this trip. Ran it all the way to empty(mostly because Alabama gas stations were hard to find after 10pm that had diesel. Filled the bug up and got 47.5mpg on that tank with 735 miles on the trip!! Woohoo we found a place before running out! My scangaugeII is way off!!

The trip ended up being 7 states!! 2000 miles!! Back home safely back to back 700+ mile tanks!
Filled up hoping for better mpg only to calculate 46.2mpg the lowest of the trip. Very disappointed about not being able to make it closer to 50mpg. And we intentionally picked highway over the interstate for the last leg so that we could travel at lower speeds. Maybe the partial usage of AC used the extra 2mpg
All in all, the mpg results achieved were better than 98% of the other cars on the road, And we feel confident that this was a good test for Hot Shot Secret. In this case, we proved it didn't help at all in this application.

I got your follow up, and I am surprised, how long do you go on your oil changes?
