hi every one i found this site looking for ways to boost mpgs on my girlfriends Subaru and got bit by the ecomodding bug. so a little about me im 25 and run my own logging and land clearing company. over the years ive been driving a 94 f350 diesel dump truck as my every day commuter but between fuel prices and have 2 kids (3 and 1) the trucks kinda getting cramped and expensive to drive. after finding this site i convinced the boss lady to let me get a car to save some money and drive the kids around and ended up finding a 92 Mazda protege for cheap which im picking up tomorrow afternoon. this site is awesome just by adjusting my driving using tips i read on here i went from my girlfriends average mpgs of 25 up to 36.4 (she drives a little more agressive then i do)

well the mazda fell through i drove 80 miles with a car trailer to pick it up to find it wouldnt start and needed more work then the seller disclosed. i have a few more cars to look at in the mean time ill keep driving my f350 which at the last fill up i went from 9mpg to 15 just by changing my driving habits and changing to a slightly smaller diameter tire on the inside dually wheels so they only contact the pavement when the truck is loaded.
