10 mm vs 4 mm thick coroplast sheets source
i bought 2 sheets of coroplast today for my bellypan, i got a 10 mm thick and a 4 mm, the 4mm is what is normally used for signs, that 10 mm stuff is really tough, it is ridged and not that bendable, it should be very durable under a car, the 4 mm weights 4.16 lbs and the 10 mm weights 5.024 lbs that extra pound makes a huge difference in toughness! the 4 mm is $10.00 a sheet and the 10mml is $28.00 a sheet at farco plastics,(thats a 4'x8' sheet) they have branches in fl,al,tn.but im sure most any med to large town will have a similar store, it is way cheaper thru a plastic/lexan/acrylics supplyer like them than it is from a sign shop, at least it was for me. Belly pan pics coming.(i asked for damaged sheets and they had some in both sizes ,just a little edge damage or small ding "not important to me" and i got both sheets for $29.00.just incase anybody is looking for some of this stuff.

I have the 4 mm thick coroplast from a $ign $hop. I also noticed an even thinner cororplast at an artist' supply shop, Swain's Art Supply. I think it's maybe less than 3 mm thick in 2' x 3' sheets. I was thinking of getting some for non-belly pan stuff. It's virtue is that it comes in different colors. However, because it's in an Art Supply store, it's also pri$ey, maybe $12 for a 2'x3' sheet. coroplast colors
The sales lady asked me what color i wanted, i just said "the cheapest" she said white then. so they have colors also . i dont know what colors though. the thinner could be good for foglight hole and grill block apps.
