10th Gen Accord('18-22) aero improvement?

Overall quite an aero design, but besides going lighter and more aero hybrid wheels anything else done that yielded higher MPG city and highway?

Stop and go vs steady state have differing requirements.

For urban driving, less weight. At highway speed aero dominates.

This is a Civic instead of an Accord, but still....

A boat tail is a literal pain in the rear (trunk access, tail lights, parking, etc.) but nothing else makes a bigger difference. Less extreme would be the boxed cavity or Bonneville style spoiler.

Of course, you could just stance it, air up the tires and give it a set of Moon disks.

Thanks to you both. Question about the rear lip of the deck lid. I've seen from behind a dusting of light snow come off of a stock 10G and it seems like a very clean break (actually around the entire rear) with nothing added to the panel. That was about at 40MPH. I then assumed there was not much to gain there as the rear has a longer more gentle slope than a Civic for example(a more natural Kammback). Would you agree there isn't anything to gain there with a small rear lip spoiler?

Also, front lower spoilers/lips tend to always help air be diverted away from the dirty and shorter underside path as well as better channeling of the air through the radiator. Would that be an avenue to go down for this body? Or too general to apply to this car as well?

Sorry these seem trivial but a rear deck spoiler from the Civic Hybrid, the Hybrid wheels and very little else yielded a 41.1US MPG for the 64,000 miles I drove my 2015 Civic EX sedan!

Rear [upper] aero can be divided into three: spoler, wing and Bonneville spoiler. The first acts as a wickerbill, upsetting local airflow to add downforce. A wing flies upside down to provide downforce. A Bonneville spoiler is a flat horizontal plate to allow reattachment of any disruption from upstream.

An example similar to your Accord would be the So-Cal Speed Shop/GM Cobalt SS, a Bonneville spoiler with end plates.

The roof-top fences are for when you're driving sideways. The square shape of the endplates is dictated by racing class rules.

Thanks. Well, I guess the 9th Civic hybrid rear lip was a Bonneville style, albeit a short one.

The underbody on the 10th gen is pretty clean, but can be improved. A partial grille block is also one of the easier and more effective mods.
