16" Aero Wheel Covers
I have three 16” stainless steel aero discs for use with 16” plain steel rims. I bought these to maximize my car’s fuel economy, especially on the highway where aerodynamics is most important.
The covers: http://i229.photobucket.com/albums/e...hAeroDiscs.jpg The car: http://i229.photobucket.com/albums/e...2006_Disks.jpg It was when I had these on was when I got the best highway fuel economy EVER with my 2006 Honda Civic … 47.4 mpg on one thankful last year. Before I took them off the last time, I lost one which is why I have only 3 to sell. The covers are in good condition … they were in use about 2 ½ years before I switched to alloys. They have some scuffs and dimples in the metal but still look good. I want $50 for all three, not including shipping and handling charges. We’ll have to work out the S&H. brorjace@hotmail.com |
Are you selling them only because you lost one? Maybe you could buy a single wheelcover somewhere?
Too bad my wheels are 15"... |
Piwoslaw,
I lost one, replaced it and lost it again (I suspect something was up with that wheel). I'm switching to alloys in a month or so. |

That's funny cfg83, in my case, I think it was a funky rim ... and it was on the rear. I never had a problem with my front rims.
A poster here used a dab of Goop or liquid nails on the spots where the grippers touch the rim and he said they stayed on and were quieter (no squeaking). But I already bought alloys and they're going on the Civic next month so I'm looking to get something for my remaining discs. |
Dropping the price to $40 + S&H
