As much as I hate to do this, I am selling my 1995 Honda Civic DX. She's got 243,000 miles and was well taken care of. But she is aging and I don't have the time nor money to put into her.

She doesn't run because a hose busted. I took her to Peavey's and was told she needs a new timing belt change soon. In fact, nothing is wrong with the engine but if it were resurfaced along with a new timing belt and hoses, she'll run for another 100,000 miles.

I'm also the original owner. I bought her brand new in July 1995.

I bought brand new rims and tires for her in December 2007 so I'd like to at least get some of that back (hence the $800 price tag).

You must pick up the vehicle as I do not have the means to deliver.

Serious offers only.

I wish I didn't open a savings account the other day.. drat! But worse comes to worse I can get the money out and do some shuffling of funds to not see fees. I wonder what broke or w/e is wrong with it. If All checks out I am jumping on it.

Should be a stick. DXs were normally the stripped down models. Good price for a beater

Thumbs up

I had one of these. Mine was blue-green - a 2 door. In its prime, I could get over 45mpg in the summer without trying hard. I sold mine to a neighbor about 5 years ago ... she just sent me a picture of the speedo with 200,001 miles on it.

Great car! With aftermarket intake, exhaust and wider tires, the thing still gave me over 40mpg and could easily top 100mph with 130,000 miles on the clock.
