Cool FS: 1988 Honda Civic sedan SOHC ZC swap SOLD!

SOLD!

1988 Honda Civic LX sedan $1500 OBO

218k miles on car
55k miles on engine (changed out at 162k miles)

Engine swapped to overhauled SOHC ZC (120hp) from Hmotorsonline at 162k miles

Car located in Garland, TX

VIN 1HGED3557JA062556

Contact info: -

Bad stuff to get it out of the way:

Minor wreck in 2/2009 with slight front end damage, needs one corner lens, one bumper lens and a catalytic converter installed (one is in the trunk) to be 100% legal. Front fenders have some damage, tiny bit of rust at the outer rear of rear passenger fender, rear passenger door has a dent where my wife dragged the car through an automatic gate many years ago.

Good stuff:

New battery installed 3/6/2011. Multi-point fuel injection (MPFI) conversion and new engine run great- 100mph+ is a piece of cake, and 40mpg on the highway is easy to achieve. 30mpg in the city is easy with a light foot. The AC has been converted to R134a and blows ice cold, and everything that came with the car works fine except for the power steering (needs crank pulley swapped to match power steering pump pulley, have the pulley).

The car has not been regularly driven since 2009, but it starts and runs great every time with no check engine lights. I trusted it to drive across the country multiple times. We used it as a daily driver up until we bought something larger to replace it.

My wife and I have owned the car for 9 years and I've done all the maintenance myself except the AC conversion. Previous owner was a secret service guy who took care of the car, original owner before him was a priest. I was planning to keep it and use it for a project, but times change and I need to unload it.

Clean title in hand.
