Yikes! $2800 seems quite a bit to ask for a '99 with 200+ k miles.

I seriously have no idea what these cars are going for these days though. Been a long time since I haunted the classified ads looking.

Yeah people around here think economical cars are made of gold. I looked at a 1990 toyota tercel 5spd, with 200+ tho mi that blew smoke like an overfued diesel. They wanted $2500

I sold my 2000 Firefly, 3 cyl, 5 speed 2 door with 118k KMs (73000 miles), no rust, for $2200 and it was painful to get it. It even had brand new tires, timing belt etc. Maybe there is more of a demand for them in the USA.
