2000 insight for sale, Redlands Ca

Well I have not been using my insight so I think it is time to sell it.

2000 silver, manual transmission, it runs well and everything works except for :

It's hard to downshift the transmission into 2nd and 1st. If you rev match you can do it. The synchro for those two gears are going bad. No issues shifting up at all.

You need to use the key to open the rear hatch

Windshield has a crack on the passenger side

IMA battery was reconditioned about a year ago. I get the light every so often so this may need to be done again. There were no bad sticks when I did it.

Car has a lot of miles. 390k. It runs really well though, doesn't leak, and surprisingly doesn't burn oil. I suspect it might have been rebuilt at some point but I have no idea.

Air conditioning system was repaired by previous owner and always worked well

There's a small crack in the drivers side front fender

57 mpg lifetime mileage. I got low 50s driving too fast up and down the cajon pass.

I put the car on a non op so no back fees. It still runs and drives fine. My civic has more room so I have been driving that.

Can take pictures in the morning. Looks like any other insight.

2300 or best offer.

Nice looking car.

I'd put the 57 mpg in the title and at the top of the listing.

Perhaps list the features so they are easier to read, instead of paragraph style.

Where'd you pick up the bra fyou have on it?

Mine is picking up rock chips from following so many trucks on I-4, I would love to have one of those to keep the damage down!

Bra was on it when I got it. I have the other piece that covers the rest of the nose also.

I am not putting 57 mpg in the title. First, if you are on this forum you know these cars get good mileage. Second, I am not going to misrepresent the car since it doesn't get 57 mpg in its current condition.

That said, reduced to 2000 or best offer. I will make you a deal on all the extra parts if you want them. I am hopefully moving soon and it would be nice to bring one less car.

Thanks

Andy
