2002 insight
 

trying for some time to resurrect this Insight , wiring harness replaced from front to back, replaced primary computers, rebuilt the gas motor ( seized from being "sugared" ) it starts up fine yet the primary batteries are reading a -35 volts, what is going on here ?

any help would be appreciated

Welcome to the site. An Insight would be a great car to revive... I'd love to be in your shoes, its an amazing car.

Not to chase you away, or anything - reviving a dead Insight is very appropriate discussion here - but have you tried looking for info over at insightcentral.net?

Hey welcome to EM, fellow necromancer of Insights:D

The primary batterys are a DC setup so you shouldn't be reading a negative voltage. Where are you taking your readings from? The two posts inside the pack or else where? You might have to gut the pack and manually cycle the batteries to bring them back to life. How has your rebuild being going?
