2003 Civic reset IMA fuse

I have had great luck with grid charging my civic. It saved me the bucks for the new HV battery the dealer wanted to pass off. Thanks for all the info I've gotten from this site.

I need to reset the IMA after charging. I noticed that the fuse in my 2003 Civic for the IMA is #16 as opposed to #18 that's been passed around for the Insight. On my Civic #18 says ACC/Cigar. But.... #16 doesn't reset it. Even if left out for 30 minutes the old reading just bounces back. Until I get around to one of the reset devices, is there another way to reset it besides pulling the 12V? Maybe it's not possible without the OBDII codes. Or maybe I should try #18 for cigarette ligher... it might be a secret code for IMA???? ;)

Just for the info if anyone is interested, probably not.. but I'll offer it anyway...

On a Honda Civic Hybrid Gen1, to reset the IMA (MCM) you have to pull the #9 fuse for 60 seconds. The #9 fuse is found in the fuse box under the hood. It's the 10A at the bottom of the 3rd column of mini fuses within said fuse box... which is on the right side of the motor compartment forward of the steering column and north of the 12V battery.

Sure... your welcome. Glad to help... Whatever.
