2007 Prius for sale $3,000 in Las Vegas

Toyota Prius 2007 LIKE NEW!

Quote:

looks like new, has been garage kept, first owner, no rust/dents.
Paint looks great, runs smoothly no visual problems.
Hopefully, "runs smoothly" indicates that the traction battery and transmission are okay. It does specify clean title. Usually, when I see Prii for sale, at least two of those three things are bad.

They conveniently forgot the mileage, wanna bet its under 250k. Otherwise about half the selling price here.

Ex-taxi is something else to consider. Are they used as taxis in Vegas as much as in some other cities?

A quick Google search indicates they are often used for taxis there.

But that means they took care of them!

Is that an adequate sarcasm font? I knew a girl that bought a former rental for that reason, although there would be an order of magnitude less abuse.

Seriously, though, why is there snow in the picture?

I went through the first five hundred cars on the LV CL and found two with snow in the pictures:

1993 GMC Typhoon
1960 rambler amercan wagon
That last one is listed in Las Vegas, but located in Montana!

I actually worked washing cars at a car rental place when I was in high school, and those cars got every i crossed and t dotted in terms of regular maintenance. No kidding. I bet it's not like that everywhere though!

Because of gas prices sub $3000 prius will become much more common than say a year ago even.

I have always marveled at how Prii kept their values and sales prices above blue book, will see how that goes, maybe I will own a prius now but still unlikely, with some volts as low as $7000 hard to justify a prius with 3x the odometer.

Sort of like the repairable insight I bought for $2000, I could have had one better for $1200 now.

Ah well.

Metro, rentals or taxis? :)
