echo bellypan install with pics and template

here is my front bellypan for my 2002 echo. it took around 4 hours kind of leisurely working. i used a hacksaw blade a razor knife and regular handtools. it is 4 mm coroplast from a plastic supplyer "Farco plastics" in jax florida. it is thru bolted in around 8 spots,. i think you can read the measurements from the photos i hope. any body with an echo or xb can probably use the measurements.total cost $14.00 middle and rear coming soon.

Very nice. How are the panels attached? I see you mention bolting, have you drilled new holes or have you used existing holes?

There are holes in the original front pan i used 4 of them and drilled 2 holes thru the bumper near the front,, its a pain to get to the bolts to put the nuts on them, but it can be done,, my nephew has way skinner arms and could get his hands all the way down to the bolts to put nuts on them by reaching down behind the headlights., i double nuted them so they wont vibrate out the bolts are 1/4 by 2 inchs long, i used large fender washers so the coroplast wont tear,

That's a cool belly pan. Most egg-salad execution.

Nice work, i was thinking of doing a simple rear diffuser for the rear since that will close up the rear suspension area and help with the drag underneath/exiting the car.

I tried a rear belly pan and it sealed nicely. But the angle was way more than the 4 deg required so i didn't get any real benefits from it. I had a curved sheet of aluminium covering the rear axle to seal it off but the axle hit it a few times when the suspension extended after some speed bumps etc. I haven't put it back on yet due to it being freezing cold here. Thing is, if i lower its angle to 4 deg it will be a lot lower than the lower edge of my rear bumper. Getting it to look the part will need some thought.
I'll post pics i promise.
